One of the highlights of LEEP ASIA is the Muay Thai Fight Night! Held on the first night (August 18) of this 3 day event, this international Fight Night is guaranteed to enthrall and inspire martial arts enthusiasts across Asia.

The Muay Thai Fight Night, hosted by CMG.ASIA, is the second one so far this year, with the first being held in March 2017. The first Fight Night was a great success, with legions of fans attending to watch fighters go head to head in the ring, and the second one is expected to be no different!

The Muay Thai Fight Night will see fighters from all across Asia do battle in one ring. Pro-am fighters from Vietnam, China, Thailand, South Korea and Taiwan will take part in 6 fights for one night only.

Fights of the Night

Le Hoang Duc from Vietnam. 165cm, 51kg, 5W – 1L. Hoang Duc was the Gold Medallist in the 51kg division of the Pro Am Muay Thai World Championship 2016
Chaiwit Suwannakul from Thailand. 160cm, 50kg, 29W – 7L. Chaiwit holds 3 championships in the 51kg division from the Thailand Muay Federation.

Nguyen Thanh Tung from Vietnam. 177cm, 67kg, 23W – 5L.
Guo Li Zheng from China. 178cm, 67kg, 20W – 7L. Li Zheng was the champion of the East Asian Muay Thai Championship 2016 and the Muay Thai Invitational across the Taiwan Strait 2016.

Sui Then from Vietnam. 170cm, 63kg, 12W – 4L. Athen was the 2016 Gold Medallist in the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Thai Championship and Kickboxing Championship.
Lee Jaejin from Korea. 172cm, 63kg, 22W. Jaejin was the 2013 World Competition jeonguk sininwangjeon featherweight winner.

Nguyen Thanh Trung from Vietnam. 170cm, 54kg, 10W – 5L. Trung holds a Bronze Medal from the South East Asian Championships 2016.
Sarawut Saengdao from Thailand. 180cm, 71kg, 20W – 4L.

Mohammad Kanani from Iran. 178cm, 78kg, 5W – 4L. Kanan has silver medals from the World Muay Thai Organisation Pro Am for both 2016 and 2017.

Le Cong Nghi from Vietnam. 153cm, 50kg, 6W – 4L.
Chen Yu-Xi from China. 173cm, 54kg, 15W.

All the fighters are champions in their own rights, with many medals between them and high achievements in both domestic and international competitions.

A Night Full of Entertainment

The night will include a demonstration from the CMG Master Fighters, as they show the crowd what it means to be a “Master of 8 Limbs,” along with an appearance and guest demo from Nguyen Tran Nhat Duy,  one of Vietnam’s leading Muay Thai fighters. Finally, the Muay Thai Kids demonstration will prove to everyone that you are never too young to have the warrior spirit!
